Why watch a video or trust someone else's ride impression? There's a lot of BOB s out there; ride one and judge for yourself. Might take some time, money, and effort, but save you in the long run.
This footage is likely shot at Edgewater, just west of downtown Cleveland. I'm sure any of them would welcome you. Check out Cleveland Freeriders on Facebook. Just so you realize the riders you see are very experienced and make it look easy. Lake Erie can be very dangerous. Make sure you get...
Pre-register to ensure a smooth and seamless competition? I hate to suggest it because I'm sure a lot of riders will want to participate, but maybe limit the number of entrants to 8-10 per event. I thought last years went pretty well, but with growth comes changes.
Beautiful ski to see in person. I'm not really a Freak-fan as far as looks go, but something about the colors, mats, etc., I think this is one of the sweetest skis I've ever seen. Nice riding at the Roar. BTW, I can really relate to your rush to get it done story.
I like the ocean, I like lakes, I like chasing boats (that want to be chased), and I liked your video. Nice air and some really sweet rolls. Props to the rider on the SXR who does a good job of capturing the other two skis while still getting some nice air time.
We did 3 shows on Sunday in front of receptive crowds of maybe 100-150? Definitely more than the usual crowds we get at regional races and they love everything you do from big moves to wipeouts. Many have probably never seen a stand up before. The conditions surprised me; we basically were...
Replaced red inline fuse wire and it FIRED UP! One of the 1 or maybe 2 things I never replaced. Gotta love the X! One little thing that I overlooked that someone else noticed. I had checked to make sure the fuse was good, but didn't notice the corrosion. Thanks for reading my ramble and replying.
I have a 701 bored to 763 with stock charging electrics except for MSD enhancer ignition. Prior to my starting issues I noticed water in the Ebox. Press start button on the S/S switch and nothing. 1st thing I tried was to jump start solenoid and ski fired up. I changed the start solenoid; no...
Congrats on a sweet ski. How about some non-go pro ride and stationary video and a few riding impressions? I'm curious as to exactly how jealous I should be!
HOLY @#%%^&%$! 240 pounds?! I'm curious about how long these boats stay in one piece considering how hard and how high they get hammered. Anyone have a ski like these 1 year, 2 years since being built? I may have to consider one of these light weight skis.
Little motors beating big motors? I think everyone realizes by now that it's all the parts working together more than anything else. I think you'll have a winner if you go with a good builder such as Art and follow ALL his advice. Pull the trigger Smitty and come on summer!
BTW Matt, the 760 BB...
Great idea! I do a lot of throws, monkey jumps, etc. that you can't wear a tether while doing. Also, everyone has a some point accidently disconnected their tether while riding. This would be awesome.
The down side for me is how much does it weigh? How does it perform in a wet environment (esp...
