Well I also make the risers for 7/8'' bars too. I am in the middle of making risers to convert the umi steering to take fat bars.

You would think so but as you land at an angle it creates an air pocket behind the ski. All the water pressure is forced in the pump tunnel kinda hard to grasp untill you ride it before and after but you will notice a difference on how much less the ski will bog down after big jumps.
