    Bearing Style Steering

Just curious as to what people are having good luck with on bearing style steering systems. I checked out the review section and did some google searching, but most of the topics I found were a bit older and new systems are out. I know it seems some of the popular ones are the RRP, ATP, and...

    Steering Cable

Well I just pulled the cable out and I couldn't see it on the ski but it has a bend in it up by the handle bars. Not an insane bend, but enough where I could see it causing friction between the inner cable and sheathing, and also corrosion is aggravating it.

    Steering Cable

As far as I know it's correct, I was thinking that it was a bend or broken sheathing along those lines. Since it's so hard to operate the cable itself I think I will start with a new cable and try that. My cable on my other ski can move with two fingers back and forth. On this one the rubber...

    Steering Cable

Actually I think the way he had it was correct. I think #8 is the little clip..maybe it's a bad cable then. Because that's the order he had it in.

    Steering Cable

Can someone direct me in any simple way on the order all the components of the steering cable are installed in the thru hull passage. The ski I have only turns left because i think the clip that holds the cable in place is in the wrong spot. Can y'all tell from the pictures below what is out of...

    Repairing Fuel Tank

Thanks guys, I figured I could use one of those but just wasn't sure of what to use to seal it.

    Repairing Fuel Tank

Seems this could be common, but couldn't find anything on this. But, what could I do to repair the nipples on the fuel tank for the breather line? One of mine is missing, and wasn't sure what I could do to fix it. I know I've seen some that used a brass barbed NPT fitting, but wasn't sure how to...

New prop, now it won't spin

No clue here, especially if with the washers it still doesn't spin. I'd assume it spins freely (the driveshaft) without a prop on it? Maybe a high spot in the wear ring at exactly the point where the prop sits? Does the prop spin inside the wear ring up until the point it bottoms out?

    Trendsetterz who got scammed

I'm not sure why that matters...give them their money back you have in my mind stolen. You did not ask these people for a loan, they paid you for a product, you didn't deliver, refund them. Otherwise, you have stolen it.

Surely someone knows or knows someone with an lawyer friend that you could call and ask some questions about the situation and options???

    08+ handle poles

Those of you who are running the RN conversion, how much length did you take out of the pole? Seems 4" is a standard?

    08+ handle poles

Thanks! Yeah I'd love to get ahold of a hazard bracket, but they are harder to find than the poles. Plus I want the cheapest way to try and get a RN pole on since I don't plan on sticking with this hull too terribly long.

    08+ handle poles

What is the difference in the 08+ handle poles on the superjets. My square pole is cracked and probably won't last much longer, someone mentioned the 08+ won't work without the cable. Is this true? Also, avidly looking for a RN pole/ conversion bracket, or even a square pole someone would part...

Custom/Hybrid Footholds-Yes, it's time for another thread! Padding, show off your trays, etc.#bestfootholdsthread

I love the white turf, it looks so clean to me. I would just think it would get dirty very quick, but man does it look good!

    Trendsetterz who got scammed

I agree, the few hundred to even a thousand spent is worth getting most of it back than none of it back to those who have lost several thousand.

    Trendsetterz who got scammed

Life will prove more stressful without a good job, and jet skiing will become even harder. I was one of the few people who went BACK to college, and am so glad I did. I traded the hot humid automotive shop and virtually no time off for an air conditioned office, weekends off/holidays off, and a...

    Trendsetterz who got scammed

I would not recommend taking a year off, very few who do return. If you have a chance to go to college do it, and don't leave. There are many success stories of people who didn't attend, but way more for the people who did. Hopefully this does not start a war.
