Well I just pulled the cable out and I couldn't see it on the ski but it has a bend in it up by the handle bars. Not an insane bend, but enough where I could see it causing friction between the inner cable and sheathing, and also corrosion is aggravating it.

As far as I know it's correct, I was thinking that it was a bend or broken sheathing along those lines. Since it's so hard to operate the cable itself I think I will start with a new cable and try that. My cable on my other ski can move with two fingers back and forth. On this one the rubber...

Actually I think the way he had it was correct. I think #8 is the little clip..maybe it's a bad cable then. Because that's the order he had it in.

Can someone direct me in any simple way on the order all the components of the steering cable are installed in the thru hull passage. The ski I have only turns left because i think the clip that holds the cable in place is in the wrong spot. Can y'all tell from the pictures below what is out of...

No clue here, especially if with the washers it still doesn't spin. I'd assume it spins freely (the driveshaft) without a prop on it? Maybe a high spot in the wear ring at exactly the point where the prop sits? Does the prop spin inside the wear ring up until the point it bottoms out?

I'm not sure why that matters...give them their money back you have in my mind stolen. You did not ask these people for a loan, they paid you for a product, you didn't deliver, refund them. Otherwise, you have stolen it.

Surely someone knows or knows someone with an lawyer friend that you could call and ask some questions about the situation and options???

Those of you who are running the RN conversion, how much length did you take out of the pole? Seems 4" is a standard?

Thanks! Yeah I'd love to get ahold of a hazard bracket, but they are harder to find than the poles. Plus I want the cheapest way to try and get a RN pole on since I don't plan on sticking with this hull too terribly long.

What is the difference in the 08+ handle poles on the superjets. My square pole is cracked and probably won't last much longer, someone mentioned the 08+ won't work without the cable. Is this true? Also, avidly looking for a RN pole/ conversion bracket, or even a square pole someone would part...

I would not recommend taking a year off, very few who do return. If you have a chance to go to college do it, and don't leave. There are many success stories of people who didn't attend, but way more for the people who did. Hopefully this does not start a war.
