You WILL get tired of the 650, but at least this way you can ride a reliable ski and be on the look out for a donor ski in the meantime.

They will indeed. I had two fully built and lifted Jeep Wranglers when I was in my early 20s and had healthy car payments, not to mention insurance on those things. I lived on ramen mostly in those days. haha

Why not run a bpipe the way you did on the 900? Does it get restrictive with the larger engine? Just curious. I've always loved the ski.

Get on Craigslist and start searching for single place PWC trailers. Anything will work for a stand-up, aluminum trailers are lighter, nicer and a little more $$$$. But anything with good tires, properly greased bearings, and a bow catch will get the job done.

I always think it would be nice to have something new or newish, but can't quantify buying a vehicle over $10k and being happy missing out on other awesome things in life. Like jetskiing, travelling, or being ale to go out and have a nice evening with my girlfriend.

That's dope...I wish I would have save all my old Splash, PWI, and Watercraft World magazines from back in the day. I loved reading those.

There are quite a few members on here from TX who have various am hulls. Reach out to one of them and see what they had to do to register their hulls.

Homebuilt?! That looks like a Kawasaki 550 to me. Seriously though, PM some of the other members from TX, they may be able to help you get it registered.
