Hey I just got back and checked that manual and it was a test for the starter not the stator. I was skimming thru a couple weeks ago and must have misread. After a bit of searching I'd say your probably need to try replacing the CDI.
It would run good for a bit then stumble for a bit then open back up again. There wasn't much of a pattern to it and I figured the Carbs were dirty. I think there is a test you can do on the charging system to see if its in spec. I will have to check my manual when I get back home.
Is it easier if you get some allen head bolts on those manifolds? Somebody has to have a good way to tighten those. I just took my manifold off last night and it was a major pain.

Hey I took a pic of my B-pipe and a Coffman that I pulled off my 650. Pretty similar design except the coffman isn't tunable. Exhaust manifold is almost the same. Can someone tell me if this is a Coffman Sizzler? This came off an old Group k 650 build.
Hey could someone take a look at the pics of this Rogo Head and let me know if it is still usable or worth anything? I got a basket case SJ out of a barn over the weekend and it came with a lot of aftermarket parts loose. I am just trying to figure out what ive got. Thanks...
