you should save up a bit more cash and try to find a solid snsj, stock or with any a/m parts you can find. best to just start reading now. are you mechanically inclined? its safe to assume however that they all have something wrong with them especially the older they are...15+year old wiring...
I'm 5'8" 155 at -3 on hull and -4 pole. 735ccish ,ppe and 10/16 hooker and ride mainly surf. For sure lost stability but once in surf it's much better, try and ride a bunch of skis first. It took me a bit to get used to -3.

atlanticjetsports has them too, be warned, internal fill only does get annoying fast if you ride surf or need to make multiple pit stops. its nice to get that extra bit of gas in the tank but annoying to pull the hood off everytime you fill up
im glad to see things are close to being whole again for you, but what i dont understand is why did they cut the hood straps. all stupidity of how they went about stealing and then returning most of the ski to you aside, why did they cut the hood straps?
Impact gun is the easiest way to pull the flywheel and if you don't have one already it is a good tool to have. It looks like your motors been apart before...
