Are you sure there is not alot of oil/fuel in the 200 psi cylinder ? It has substantial piston wash compared to the front cylinder.

Help! Uneven Compression on New Motor

I noticed that too...Also notice the rear cylinder is running more rich which helps give it slightly higher #'s due to more oil seal.

    Dasa Crank Billet vs Forged

Brand new 133mm Rod design by ADR, they made some cool changes to add even more strength. I've run their 10mm almost 2 yrs in Florida approximately 150 hrs.

Surfriding Advice on good surf motor please

I agree 10mm stroker motors have good longevity and produce that torque needed for quick throttle response which can add to your fun in the surf. I could get 1 hr 15 minutes ride time with 900R 10mm with 46's.

2016 Daytona Freeride - ROLL CALL

Myself and a bunch of Tampa Bay area crew are going as usual every year. I'll be riding my -4.3 SF with a 61x bpipe motor and mag pump. *** Would be interested in what everyone is riding for their latest surf ski setup. ***

Big bore + 155 mag pump = what prop?

My 1998 GP1200 nozzle was 86.5mm and it is max bored thin at 90.35mm and working fine. It also has approximately 5 degrees built in up trim.

    Cooling line on off valves

I was thinking the same thing. I like the idea of the valve you posted or tape a mini screwdriver to a hose which would enable you to remove hose from head to the pipe. This would not allow the cooling system to pressurize and a bilge or scupper would take care of minimal water intake.

    Solas 148 pump

They make the skat 148 wear ring by machining the 144 housing to match a 144 stator housing bored for a 148 mag stator your right. I believe once I saw a 148 made inside matching 155 housings with some type of filler to close the gap all the way around; that pump was for sale here.

    Captain's New Boat

You are going to ride this mostly surf ? Some boatwake ? I went with the same 4.5 tank and Skat 155 stator recently, seems like good choices.

    Captain's New Boat

Have you decided what brand 155 mag pump you are getting ?

    Solas 148 pump

Don't think it would save money but it would be lighter than a solid SS housing if desired for FW use. I think Skat uses a 155 housing to make them but not sure.

    Solas 148 pump

Skat can insert a 148mm wear ring inside an oem housing. Seen them before.

Real nice ! Did you have to remove the XS metal pump ring off pump shoe to run an oem type pump seal ?
