Really? I can't turn it at all, but that's not saying much lol. Rivas chose an ugly color combo lol. Then again it probably looked ok when the paint was brand new and didn't have stupid "humor" bumper stickers on it. I don't suppose you know where that ad is? I'd love to see it
Nothing other than that I bought it from a couple in western Colorado who said they owned it for like 10+ years. What do you know of it? I'd be interested to know.
Nothing but awesome experiences with Chris. Just wish he had a web site lol. he makes the transaction painless anyway so I guess a web site wouldn't matter.
I work with a guy who thinks the 550sx was the greatest ski ever made and somehow thinks freestyle skis are homo because they are quote, "too stable to have fun on". He's never even ridden a superjet let alone an AM hull. blows my mind.
Not to take away from buying a 550. I would buy a clean...
I wake up early, come into work on my day off as requested by my boss, and then the other 3 guys who are here decide they only want to work a half of a shift today. Two people need to be here at all times....WTF. I wouldn't have ruined my Saturday to come in just for an extra 4 damn hours.
Rosie's right guys. The guy is excited about his first AM build and we have all effed up his build thread. Sorry Rosie. I went back through and deleted all of my posts that didn't relate to your build. I was surprised that I had to delete like 7 posts.... My bad man. I was probably the biggest...
Use a 701 61x motor. You will be happy with a 650 for all of 10 hours before you want to upgrade. I'm not sure what your budget is but if you can throw some money at it you should get a motor from jet maniac.
Also, Chris doesn't get mad when people ask to contact him by phone. Just sayin. Cool guy. I'm looking for an excuse to buy a hauler from him. Sadly my tiny double trailer suits me...for now ;)
That boat looks like fun, but all I can think is "how big of a wake can it throw for a ski?" haha. How simple our minds are when it comes to obsession over hobbies.
On a side note, I've always wanted a boat with a cabin so I can feel like I'm living out one of my favorite kid rock songs...
