I have a 91 550sx and I agree with what TheBuzzard said. Enjoy the ski for what it is stock.

I wanted to follow up with a report on how the new impeller worked out. Took the ski out the first time this year to the annual Easter egg hunt on the water a few weeks ago. The new impeller made a big difference...no cavitation and made the ski more "snappy".

Which is it?? The Solas impeller installaton instruction and the Kawaski service manual (applicable for 1990 - I have a 1991) both state that the impeller is "right had threaded" - meaning to remove the impeller you turn it counter-clockwise. The Clymer manual for 1976-1991 states the impeller...
