I think it would be helpful if you could also list your prop and pump size / pitch that's working with this setup. I also am interested in the curve you are using

AV gas is 100 low lead. Lead in the fuel is a lubricant. As long as there are no O2 sensors it's a better alternative for most engines. And with no ethanol in it it will keep much longer.

I'll join in. I have always had boxers, but just a week ago my wife adopted a 1 year old great dane. This dog has picked me and follows me everywhere. The other 2 just want to chill in the yard and could care less. I couldn't imagine not having a dog. They are truly man's best friend...
No reason to look further. Phil tuned and completely dialed the prototype. I don't think there is anyone more qualified to give advice on this engine from a tuning standpoint. But I'd still like a look at the curve I referenced in the post above.

It would be killer if you would be kind enough to post your curve here. I'm pulling the total loss off for the summer and putting my HX3 in.

Nope you are on your own. Just take it to Phil to have it tuned. He likes those Florida hulls anyway! Or you could just copy my setup. 155 total loss pfp and 49s. I'll get you all the info you want.

I need to send my tank back to have something added on. We get busted for fire extinguishers here. Looking at my virgin tank with no battery box I figured I could weld up an aluminum tube capped on one end, cut a hole in the top next to the filler cap and have u weld in the tube to the tank...
Phil is really making a name for himself! Give it a year or so I can see him tuning a winning boat at wf. Some people say they can tune and guys like this just go out and do it. Glad you guys had a good trip. I remember just a few weeks ago talking to you about heading to see him.

Just to clarify there is foam in the tray. From the entire description of the catastrophe I was given- the ski bobbed for a couple min before going down

With an investment casting you have a lot more options than pressing in a sleeve of one uniform thickness. I think the real magic here is in the way the transfers are cast. In theory you can cast the cylinder wall a little thicker at the transfer port areas. Hell you could even cast a radius...
