Ive always cut my poles from the bottom. I had a fx1 pole on my squarenose and chopped it about 5 inches. It is actually shorter than the xscream comp length pole at the shortest setting. Lol The bad thing about cutting the top is the pole gets bigger after a little bit and the bracket wont fit.

Locktite is your best friend when building a ski. I would silicone the ride plate.

Fx1 and hurricane going for a after work ride today

Another fun day at the lake. Us Texans are slowly getting out of winter mode! Had a pretty decent turn out and a variety of skis. 2 x2s, rickter xfr, dvx, hurricane, 1100 fixed steer sxr, fixed steer trinity, couple round nose and square nose.

The bolts are smaller on the 61x exhaust manifold. I have a 61x exhaust on my 62t cylinder blaster. Had to drill out the manifold. Not a big deal.

No go for me this time. Port A was a blast last year. Sucks to miss it. Hopefully I can go to the fall ride.

Ive used my enclosed trailer for all sorts of things besides hauling jetskis. So it was a good investment for me.

After a year or 2 of riding it will be light blue. The orange turf on my blaster is almost gold now. Lol
