I paid 740ish for mine, brand new. Just a heads up, in case you were looking around.
I would buy new, then have it trued and welded, but that's just me.
Haha, I was going to do that, but it was late and we only had time to do one side anyway. Top deck and hood tomorrow, then with any luck it goes out to paint next week. Another Vette color as well.
With any luck I'll have mine back from paint on Friday. Doubt I'm going to push it for Wavedaze though. I'll be on the roundnose.
3 page build thread, no progress. Just sayin, lol.
Why is there more of a gap with the dampener in? That doesn't really make sense, did you not have the bolts in in the picture with the playing card?
You might need to loosen the motor mount bolts to get it back tighter, or it's possible your midshaft has slid back in the housing. Maybe...
I put the new xmetal box in mine the other day and the fit is damn near perfect. The only issue is it may require me to cut a little off the exhaust side because the outlet is so tall. It also seemed to leave plenty of room between the tank and box.
Between the four of us we will get it done. Lift up your skirt, grab your balls and man up.
Lol, as long as you have it by Friday the 22nd we will get you running and ready.
I used a right angle drill but still had to work on the holes because of the angle on the bottom holes. Maybe if the drill weren't so big. Done now, wasn't bad just awkward.
Why don't you take a video and post it on here? I feel like you keep saying the same thing over and over without having any more information about the issue. If it's got 150 in both holes then it's not a gasket or o-ring. If it was the exterior o-ring, I'm assuming aftermarket head, then it...
It'll be ready for Wavedaze Brian. I still have to paint mine and it's going to take a little time, so I don't mind giving you a hand with yours since I'm not pushing to get mine done before Wavedaze.
Blue, could you post a pic of the engine bay with the motor and tank in? I run a little different pipe setup and I'm interested to see if I think it will work.
This is my Golden, Colby, he's going to be 9 this year. It's impossible to keep him out of the water. He loves everyone, and is the perfect family dog. I'm spoiled and not sure I could ever have another dog after him because he's so well behaved.
