You could put a versi plug in your pump tunnel on the other side if you wanted to be sure all the water is evacuated.

I like the angles where the camera has some separation from the rider. Quick Mick makes a mount that fits in the bow eye that serves this purpose for the most part. Or the people who have the small boom kicked off their helmet etc... The challenge is keeping it from breaking off and sinking.
