No it's not. Well essentially they are because they both richen the mixture at startup to make starting easier, but the difference between them is that a primer actually injects fuel directly into the throat of the carb while a choke merely blocks the flow of air into the throat thus decreasing...
I'm sure someone has one laying around here that you can have. If I could find mine you could have it. Everyone removes it anyways.
Is there a reason you still want to run a choke?
All you need to do is unbolt the ebox from the brackets using the 2 nuts on the inside. Don't worry about the bolts under the turf.
You may have some corrosion between the ebox and studs, but I found an awesome way of getting past that. Check out my tip for removing the ebox...
I don't think so. Blasterboy bought just the hull off Lee then I think he sold it to this guy racing it so he would have had to put a Judge motor in there himself.
I can't see Orlando being that big of a course. I used to wakeboard a lot at the Orlando Watersports Complex back in high school and I can't believe they're allowing a race to be held there. Thats awesome.
Check out this link for pictures of the site...
I didn't know you were back from the desert Mike. That's great to hear.
Thank you for your service. :usa2:

If you wanna save some money and your washers are still in good shape go to a local bearing store and they should have a stainless steel bearing that size. I believe I did that once for my blaster UMI steering and the ss bearings ran about $10 each.
Yes get the stainless bearing. The UMI one's are junk.
When people are buying UMI Steering systems new I always recommend that they buy it from JSS cuz John will sell you the system for the normal price of the system , but swap out the bearing for a ss bearing and the washer for a tuff thrust...
That's the same problem I had so I had to grind down the cases and put turf under the waterbox to raise the stinger end of the chamber which subsequently raised the chamber up and away from the motor mount/cases.
I had to the do the following to get my limited bpipe to fit:
1. Partially grind down the ribs that the pipe rubs against.
2. Partially grind down the edge of the cases near the motor mount that the pipe sits directly above.
3. Glue 3 square pieces of turf together and put underneath the...
A little off topic, but you wouldn't happen to know what kind of blaster hull that guy had that he was planning on racing? Is he on the boards? Shoot me his contact info if you know if he's looking to get rid of a hull. Thanks:biggthumpup:
hey man this has been talked about many times before. do a search and you should be able to find plenty of threads about it. here are 2 threads that should help:biggthumpup:

We just spent the whole year designing a Reno Racer for my Senior Aircraft Design Class and now we're trying to find someone to build it for us. :sneaky::biggrin: Check it out:biggthumpup:
