I worked on mine last night, I cut a slot all the way through it so the bolts are accessible. I still can't use those bolts for my limiting rope though.

Are you going to add fuel fittings (i.e. Cold Fusion tank inserts) or use the stock ones? Pretty cool either way. What size tank is that? (too lazy to google)

Speaking of mounting to the pole. I have a Xmetal adj pole with Xmetal steering. How are y'all mounting your limiting straps to this? I was eyeballing the threaded holes on the plate for UMI(?) style steering.

How are y'all cleaning up the Kevlar tails when you cut the plate?

Anything else done to the motor? I have a 9/15 hooker on my wife's RN, ported 61x single carb, head, B-pipe FX1 chamber, enhancer. It runs a decent speed on the top end.... Plenty fast to chase a boat anyway. But unless someone happens to have a straight cut low pitch prop and reads this...

Conversely... thats a big prop for a 771... I'm sure it will turn it... but I run a 10/16 on a 62T 771 and its great. Unless you're racing....

I didn't realize how similar our engine/ pump setups are. I haven't cut my plate yet... very nervous since I don't have anything to compare it to.
