Welp, minus the footholds, I got pretty much everything wrapped up last night. Installed fuel lines Turned the F/A (thanks Jetmaniac!) Installed the right weatherpack plug Plumbed the primer Got it to start and run I thought I found a cap for the trim but it didn't work so I used Hornedoggs...

The first letter cap thing is a little..... eccentric.... but thats fine, you're getting a lot of mileage out of your shift key. Another trick that you can learn is a turn sub or a power sub.

I wasn't able to find a weatherpack connector yesterday. It amazes me that parts store employees don't know what these are. Just in case ya'll don't know either. Anyhow, I jammed the metal pins in the other connector to test the motor and it worked in a pinch. I might grab the plug today...

What have you done so far? Is the motor in etc? Hard to suggest until I know where you're starting from.

This probably isn't the issue, but is your fuel system holding pressure? To me it sounds like an exhaust leak. Runs fine for X amount of time, then burble burble bs. Try running w/o the hood for poops and giggles.

Horne mentioned to me that at first blush the comp pole seemed too short, but he's a lil' fella (5'8" I think) so I don't know if that is part of the issue. He mentioned that he found the short pole to be useful for tricks, but it would wear on his back during cruising. Since he's had more...

I'm not running dual cooling on my BB781 @ 200psi. It runs plenty cool. To me its just something else to have to connect/ route/ leak.
