I found pics, and since this got bumped up... Still in use today.
The two piece design was only because I didn't have one solid piece in my shop that was big enough.
X2 on leaving the lanyard in, the best part is turning to figure out what's pulling on your life vest and the lanyard is like...
Alright, I got one.
Fx1 with AM handle pole bracket (i.e. no pole lock), had the pole up and hood off. It was a windy day, looking to see how much gas I had in the...
Yeah.... Instead of the jitter loop thing, maybe sloooooow it way down. Dunno if you have enough resolution to do that, but it would probably go over much more betterful.
Ok... Heres the scoop...
My AM hull will be 29" wide. Our SJ is 26.5".... The 5 foot wide utility trailer is..... 60 inches. (Yay math!)
This gives me a grand total of 5" of room to divide 3 times. Trailer rail to ski, ski to ski, and then ski to rail. If everything is equal, that's ~1.6" per...
I probably won't buy this, but it's a great guide to make my own.
Whole thing out of steel, I'd run a piece of 2x2 up the center so I can have hitch pin mount for the nose.
Trailers are so oddly priced... a 6x12 flatbed is about 900ish on CL, but at that point the same sized enclosed trailer (my end game) can be had for $2200ish.
And all the two place PWC trailers are sold, of course. Grr... I guess i'm gonna pop for a 6x12 flatbed so I can use it for other chit.
Cause i'm gonna have a fancy custom painted ski that i'd like to keep the bottom all sexy like for as long as possible lol...
Otherwise, yes... absolutely.
I measured the trailer this morning. Its a 5x10, which means its too narrow to hold a SJ (28"W) and a aftermarket hull.
Back to the drawing board. I'll continue to update this once I find a new trailer.
Just found my thread hanging out on page 4...
Well I did some work this weekend finally.
I'd like to start out by saying that flat/ smooth turf is a giant PITA to work with. It's not squishy, its hard to form, it sucks. Maybe its just the color I got, but damn....
Next I want to mention...
Buying a flatbed trailer soon. It's a 10x5' with side rails like most utility trailers.
I sold my pickup in order to get better mpgs in my dad-mobile.
I would like to retain the flatbed utility, but be able to drop in bunks to tow skis. The majority of its function will be ski hauling, but if...
Bumper is a nice touch, for looks I'd ditch the steps but I know they're handy. I will always have a tonneau or a camper in my trucks. Turns the bed into a lockable trunk.
Nice rig! Where did you score the landing lights?
