Thanks for the comments. Although the ski is stock motorwise i do have a Team Butch rideplate that i have shimmed the back two bolts and im running a Jetline stainless prop. Im not too worried about top end so much. But id like it to hook up as you mention.

Its just gonna be a stock 550. I basically got it for free, so just getting it cleaned up, painted and hopefully running soon. Bodywork and paint is one of my hobbies so i figured id make it look nice.

Feel free to take the Bitmap and use it to design graphics for your ski like i did. I just used Paint to change the colors on it. The handpole is dark metallic blue. Ill add more pics as i get it together.
Ill be attempting to fire up a new to me 89 550 soon. If the carb is anything like the rest of the ski, its been tampered with. Can someone give me some baseline carb settings for this thing to check that im in the ballpark? any help would be appreciated.
