I'm sure some will not agree, but I was told to not use paper element filters. My experience is that the paper will eventually clog up the internal filter in the carb. I believe the metal screen filters are best. Not sure if that's what anyone has discussed here, but wanted to throw it out there.

Did a little more asking around about where to keep your tow rope... I couldn't remember where this thread was, so i'm glad it got bumped up. I bought a pair of the JetManiac tow hooks and some beefy rope and i'm using them as pole limiting rope on my ski. I can unhook both ends and attach it...

I think it wouldn't turn out well at all. Too coarse, On the bottom of the hull, it would effect the way the hull moves through the water, with drag, and on the top deck... eeesh, can't imagine hitting that with any part of my body. Just my opinion. I doubt anyone has done this.
