For about the same price, at least it was a couple years ago, i was looking into krash holds. My only concern would also being locked in too good as they curl around your heel.
They too look like a bitch to install.
Not thread jacking just curious if the prop suggestions are based off the engine size , hull , type of pump or riding style ?
Looking myself for a proper impeller on the B1 1100 and am soaking up the info
Well this was a learning experience. Once carbs were out of the ski I was able to see my idle screw was way hi. Problem solved.
I always think the worst right away - after researching air leak all I could envision was having to pull the engine (just opened and checked) and replace...
if you do decide to go home-made get castors rated for the weight of a ski-- not the rollerblade wheels HF sells..lasted about a week w/ a blaster hull and the bearings were all over my garage
I pulled the F/A's and nothing obvious but i noticed throttle flaps aren't shut fully. I'm guessing that's for idle.
So from here I guess pull carbs, rebuild , and change all gaskets is the first step.
Fuel is 3/4 full w/ a 36:1 mix. The engine was just re-honed and checked by CPT. I have no history as this was a CL purchase but got a clean bill once opened and inspected.
The carbs , now who knows when/if they were last serviced
Where should I look if an air leak is suspected? In carbs themselves ? The intake ? I'm new to rebuilding / working on them but can do with some guidance

Figured if I have to pull carbs and inspect wouldn't it make sense just...
I'm realizing that most guys will switch out the stock carbs on the kawi 1100 w/ mikunis but I didn't and now it goes wot when I start up.
I haven't even broken in the engine yet but this is new for me. Looking for ideas when l get back to it in the morning. Research tells me either an air...
Are your boots on the correct plugs? I had this issue ie. backfire and switching the front to back plug worked. I moved my ebox to front so cable orientation was switched

I definitely could've gone a more inexpensive route but this was an investment that I hope I can rely on for yrs to come and not worry about it on the road as I did with the previous budget trailer. Good thing is most trips are 2 blocks to the ramp!
I used these guys...
I wanted a 2-place trailer without the large footprint of your standard dual pwc hauler. I purchased a single pwc Load rite trailer, new, and began cutting. Its rated for 1400# but I wanted to do this without adding unnecessary weight i.e.. wood and be able to fit a blaster and sj.
