    For about the same price, at least it was a couple years ago, i was looking into krash holds. My only concern would also being locked in too good as they curl around your heel. They too look like a bitch to install.

    if you do decide to go home-made get castors rated for the weight of a ski-- not the rollerblade wheels HF sells..lasted about a week w/ a blaster hull and the bearings were all over my garage

    I pulled the F/A's and nothing obvious but i noticed throttle flaps aren't shut fully. I'm guessing that's for idle. So from here I guess pull carbs, rebuild , and change all gaskets is the first step.

    Fuel is 3/4 full w/ a 36:1 mix. The engine was just re-honed and checked by CPT. I have no history as this was a CL purchase but got a clean bill once opened and inspected. The carbs , now who knows when/if they were last serviced
