You don’t want to weld a rod to the frame. I just used plastic square Delrin bushings in the square tube and drilled a hole for the axle to go through.

I think they are pretty spot on! Nose width has more taper up front making it very natural feeling when in the face riding waves and carving. Minimal chimes in nose, so a tad loose when pressing the nose. Ergonomics very similar to a Blaster with small seat. Hood hinge up front isn’t very good...

cut at the backside of a big fan and youll have very little get on you. if you dont have a fan use air pressure to clean yourself. any contact will rub it in :( any talcum powder will help too. shower off your whole body with Head & Shoulders (anti itch). works really well.
