Hopefully not the Rickter hulls farewell announcement.

Glad they are still going to be around making other stuff at least.

Just for fun. Write short crappy reviews of jetskis you've owned or rode.

Seadoo 787 GSX- The dodge of jetskis. Looks good, goes good when it runs. Usually doesn't. Waveraider 701- The chevy tahoe of sitdowns. Does literally everything, but just ok. Waveblaster 1 with all the mods- the closest thing to a watercycle you'll ever experience. MotoGP of the lake. Kawi...

    ELECTRIC IS HERE!

Yes. I drive exotic cars for a living working at a used car dealership. I've driven most Ferraris, newer Lambo's, Mclarens, Porsches etc. I've also daily ridden either a 9 or 10 second 1/4 mile sportbike for the last 18yrs. The tesla has no visceral appeal what so ever. You feel the G of...

    ELECTRIC IS HERE!

I think the same thing I think about electric motorcycles, and electric cars. F this crap. I want nothing to do with the soul sucking boringness of electric motors. Have you ever driven a tesla? Its the most boring acceleration you've ever felt. Its like riding the light rail at disney to and...

Pro-tec head.. Will I notice a difference between domes? Will it be safe?

We have one superjet in the group running 220psi domes on a 760 and 91 octane. Its all about how you use the throttle.

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

Ahh but using someone elses jetting specs for the same setup is a great starting basis. Especially when it starts great, idles great, and has excellent power. The rest is a matter of dialing in the combo [i hope] Whats more foolish, using a known decent jetting setup from more then one source...

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

lol my point was to show the OP that porting does not influence the powerband like he was asking, as the same ported cylinder and head react very differently when different parts are bolted on. Pipe is set same as it was before I put the engine in. I haven't played with it yet. Carbs are...

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

I have a 61x cylinder I had bored to 84mm and ported it myself using the port templates sold on here. I had a head shaved and cut for the 84mm bore and big race gas compression. In my old square nose, I put this on the stock 61x cases and carb, with a protec black pipe. This combo was very...

    64x different cylinder compressions

With the same size domes and fresh bore/pistons, there should be no mismatch in compression. This is a engine problem, not a 760 problem.

    New hull

Maybe what the OP is really saying is Yamaha needs to make the 96-07 superjet again but with a lighter weight material.

If you ride a motorcycle/scooter on the street/roads, please read!

While the sentiment behind this is good, its kinda missing the point. If you ride a bike on the road, you ALWAYS look out. You trust NOTHING, and assume EVERYTHING is out to kill you at all times. Period.

    Riding Stance

Footholds are in the back. So if you want you feet held in, that's where you stick em. So jumping and what not they go there. For cruising around, going fast etc, surf stance in where its at. Easy peasy.
