Does thrust ez pull trim ring work on both 144 and 155

bought a surf ski that has no trim and a 144 mag. I’ve got a 155 ez pull system laying around. If I get a 144 trim reduction nozzle, can I use the ez pull system or is it a different trim ring? Any idea what ski that would have come on for ebaying purposes? Thanks! -Jordan

Hey - doing some experimentation with a home made pump and need a 160/83 impeller somewhere around 10/20 pitch. Will be bending and testing so somewhere close should be fine. A little damage/etc is ok as well. Thanks!! -Jordan

Anyone know if there will be any live feeds from world finals this year? Kinda sucked last year watching just IG live feeds and such.

    identifying OEM bendix vs aftermarket

Hey - couldn't find any threads on this... Is there an easy way to identify a stock/oem bendix vs an aftermarket one? I always try to scoop these up on ebay when i see them cheap but i honestly don't know if I'm just buying a used aftermarket bendix half the time... -Jordan

    Freestyle Trick Names Index

It dawned on me that there are a lot of trick names I don’t know and a lot of confusion on variations of the barrel roll. Maybe we need an index? Barrel Roll = traditional trick where ski moves forward while tail rotates around the nose. ??? (I call these spins) = ski does not move forward...

Local place to get flywheel key in a pinch

Just like title says… sheared a flywheel key tonight and want to ride tomorrow. JM is fast as hell so I’m maybe good for the weekend, but where can I get a key locally that will work until then? Home Depot? Lowe’s? Harbor freight key set? Thanks in advance! -Jordan

Whose done at home metal casting?

Hey, I’ve really been considering getting into casting aluminum parts at home lately. I’m looking at lost PLA with 3D printed forms (or bucks or whatever they are called). Struggling to figure out what size furnace/foundry/whatever to buy. Thinking this would give me the excuse I need to buy a...

    XS1200 rod let go

Great day of riding. Very bad ending. Now I gotta get an interim motor while I maybe rebuild this... oh and I have a new motor coming in 4 months too. FML. no signs of detonation, water ingestion, etc. I think the rod just let go. Interesting that this has polished rods. Wonder if that...

    Coupler interchange 66e to 62t

So I’m switching from my XS1200 (66E platform) to a 62T based 1200 (TPE). Can I use the GP800 coupler set that’s on the XS1200 on the 62t based motor? Can’t recall if the Cranks are different threads or motor is set further back/forward or something. Thanks!

    Inside an antigravity battery

Thought some people might find this interesting. Out of frustration around dead-ish rediculously priced AG batteries, I took an old one apart. Based on what I see, this can easily be balance charged. also the the top posts that spin often can easily be cleaned and tightened. Also, should be easy...

Where do you get these threaded inserts in bulk

I like buying this kinda stuff in bulk. Where do you get these or what are they called? Is this still the most popular way to attach foot straps in the tray (did it maybe 12 years ago using these)? https://www.blowsion.com/products/hull-components/dakine-footstrap-hardware-kit Thanks! -Jordan

Custom/Hybrid Tightening prop by cut back or repitch. Advantages to either?

so I might tighten my prop up a bit. I can move it closer to the stator with more cutback (will throw it on the lathe) or I can repitch slightly. I know both methods can “tighten” a “loose” prop but there must be slightly different things that will happen between these two methods, right? I’m...

Fuel - how old is too old

I’m going to FL for jet ski school and have two full 5 gallons of 93 mixed with klotz from October. Was gonna pour it into every gas powered thing I have and get fresh fuel. Is that dumb? Is it fine or am I smart to dump it? thanks! -Jordan

Foam for heel locks and wedges

I feel like I started a thread for this a while back but can't find it... so sorry for the duplication... Does anyone know what the actual foam is that's being used by XScream and others to make heel locks, wedges, etc? I've done a bit of research and i THINK its high density EVA probably in...

Do you think competition history adds value to a ski?

Ok, so I've been rocking the Ant Burgess 2013 world finals winning ski since the summer. I've turned it into a very nice ski but the paint is 7 yrs old and the bottom paint is black (not original). Orange isn't really my color of choice. Do you think it loses value if i repaint it in a...

    Freestyle Achieving max steering throw

Hi All, I've been playing around with my steering a bit and came to the same conclusion I always come to - My nozzle can go further to each side than my steering system allows. It appears this is because of the attachment point position on my trim (Raptor). I'd like to move the attachment...

66e GP800 Billet Front Cover (stock electronics)

Anyone make/have a billet front cover for a 66e based motor? I'm switching to zeel on my XS1200 and don't really love the look of the cut up OEM from cover i'll have to run. I think WDK might make one for their motor? Anyone else making these? Thanks! -Jordan
