I just took out the oil pump and started running 50:1 premix in my 95 B1. and the frst time out I started in flat water and played around to make sure everything was ok, and it was until i got into some surf about 30 min later. when i was hitting air i would notice loss in fuel even a few stalls...
it s more noticable when the hoods up, but shes not continuing to rev while air born. i think ill spray around the intake to see to double check. maybe i m just being crazy wouldnt be the first time.:clown:
i hear a sound like air being sucked in only when i give it gas. my buddy thinks its just air coming in through the k&n air filter. the performance has been sweet, full power through the rep range and great throttle response. like i said it just worries me that i could be running too lean.
There sounds like i have an air leak somewhere around my intake manifold on my blaster. I only hear it when i give it gas though. any thoughts. i would think if there was a leak the engine would race, i just dont want to sieze a piston from a lean mixture:feedback:

i busted my leg in the inlet. rode a bit more iced it on the beach then loaded up. 6 hrs later i couldnt walk at all. i was casted up for 12 wks and i still got bone frags in my ankle, point of the story i would get it checked so the future doesnt look so grim. or maybe just keep poundin beers...
