Well I went to WaveDaze today and am completely enticed and have to get my ski in the water this year.

Sorry for the late reply. The ski is currently in Richmond at my dads house. I haven't had any time to play with it so I let him take it for a while. I'll still be at WaveDaze for sure.

im picking up another 550 next week that has been sitting for around 15 years for free. as winter comes closer im thinking of making this one a flatwater freestyle ski. would it be worth it to do all the glass work on such an old hull? i have no idea about engines or pumps yet. im learning...
Thanks wright. I'll look into that. Once I get good enough on my ski I want to get something capable of flipping in the surf. I've been reading about big displacement engines and carbon hulls but I guess ill figure it out as I go
