I have a 650sx I am wondering if you need to have the plastic peices that go all the way around the ski? Do they help keep a float or are they just there to protect the fiber glass when bumping into things? I am about to paint my ski and I much rather keep them off if that is possible... thanks

Whats it like riding with a flat deck is freestyle easier? it seems like it would be hard to ride normal... maybe something i would consider doing as a winter project!

if you are just going to ride around and not do any freestyle then i would say 550 but to do tricks and freestyle the 650 is much better for that because of the power and i think the 650 is easier to handle. Ive had both and i think a 650 is def worth it!

I was wondering what extending the turning nossle does on a stand up ... would it be easier to do tricks and turns? also is there a way to extend it with out buying a new one? I saw some people put a stock x2 one on anyone know what that is ? thanks
