I’ve not messed with it in years. Few challenges are it’s in a dry box in back behind rrp exh manifold. Have to remove engine to get it out. Led hasn’t worked in years on msd. Don’t have Manual I’d have to download it. Paper clip jump sounds like a good place to start in case it’s issue in...
Came back from Tona after ski ran perfect. Li fe Battery was dead. Bilge was disconnected for trip. Should have disconnected ground from batt. Oh well. Anyway. Put standard battery charger on life batt on 20 amps for 5 sec to bring it back to 12 volts then switched to icharger and fully charged...
Jm. Thanks for the info. My ski has a high side exh tube so water in motor was never a issue. However noise was so I’m trying yours. Just used a small piece of rubber tubing on inlet as you can see in pic so I can use the stock hump connector over it. The inlet into the jm box is couple inches...
Jetmaniac lay down pipe waterbox has a substantial smaller inlet size and longer than the rrp stock box. Will this act as somewhat longer narrower stinger. Anyone have experience with this wb and rrp. Higher rpm? Add more fuel ?
Talked to Ed at fs. He says fuel pump diaphragms rarely wear out and are suppose to move this far. Also the black pump is different because it came as oe on some yami or kawi spec ski. Mikuni direct are made to diff specs. I must have a small air leak somewhere that I just havnt been able to find
U can see the gold pumps are both currently on the full spec carbs. I was just contemplating using the lower black one to see if it was a fuel pressure or pump issue. The black one has a pass through between the check valves also.
both have pulse lines of course they are shown in the first pic...
No air leaks and the second pic is same side of pump. One is a gold fs pump the other is a black one. Not sure the difference But the clear diaphragm is glued on the gold one and has much more motion in it. The black one seems to have thicker clear diaphragm that seperates from it Not sure if...
I checked pop off and pulled jets everything seems normal but front carb keeps going lean even with adjuster screws further out than rear Cylinder.
Pulled fuel pump and seems like there is a good bit of range motion on the clear diaphragm compared to another spare I had around. The whole pump...
I believe Eric gives them specifics on each set of pistons. He uses custom Wisco pistons. cylinder was cleaned well. Found this on millenniums website. The stripes in cylinder have the same 8 spot placement
This is what the head looks like also
That’s a interesting idea. The coupler over the rrp is much bigger than the id of the stinger though. Hump hose connector setup also.
The rrp pipe is carbon it’s great for low end punch which I do like for one trick wonders but it comes with its own set of issues. The stinger is a bit larger...
