    Pricing

I don't know what the dealers paid for them but I paid $5500 OTD in '08 and so did a friend. I also paid $5500 OTD in the middle of the summer in 2005 at a different dealership. In both cases I cold called them and told em that's what I would pay, They told me to come get it.

    Pricing

The ski is 2 years old and you could get them for $5500 OTD without tax in 08, I just read somewhere else that the price went up to $7300 for a 2010. I would try to get it for 4K

    has anybody heard from scorn800?

I noticed some of the stocks thread got deleted. Why does that happen on this site? If a post makes certain people look the p@ssy's that they are or hurts their feelings then it just dissapears like magic. If that thread is the reason he got banned it is a pretty weak.

eng hard to start when hot

It's your carbs/jetting. My 08 was always a hard starter until I rejetted and put a primer on it. My 05 never had problems starting.

    Getting off Stock stickers

Goo-off works good. you should be able to find it at any hardware store. Spay it on and let it work for a minute then the stickey crap will rub off.

anyone ever thought of riding through venice??

I was there a couple years ago and ripping around the canals was all I kept thinking about. I think that about almost everbody of water I see though. They do use the canals as ass dumpsters but you can't tell at all because the tide cleans it out.

    tubbies

The 1's are rounded into the hull basically just making your hull wider and the 2's are concaved from the hull out to the outer edge of the tubbie. I would recomend getting the 2's unless you are going to use the ski for strictly surf riding. I have the 2's and are very happy with them.

    worx pump stuffer grate

Yeah it's the same thing. Trust me, Like I said in the other post I know that ski all to well. You'll be good with that grate for a while because cornering is what you have that sxr for.

I know that ski all to well. I'm glad it went to someone who's gonna put it to good use and is out of diehard kawi john's garage. The intake you asked about is the Worx pump stuffer grate.

    Prepping bottom for paint?

I thought that was obvious. The original post was about what to use not how to do it. Just wanted to give a heads up about wet paint drawing water out like a sponge.

    Prepping bottom for paint?

I used Sytem three 2 part apoxy (from Blowsion) combined with west system filler (powder type stuff). You mix the 2 part apoxy 1 to 1 and then add the filler until you achieve a peanut butter consistency. I used this to feather in my tubbies and prep bottom for paint. It's easy to work with...
