    Do a compression check, normal values are around 150. 130 would be concerning. Pull the head and look at the cylinders for scoring.

    Buy an spark gap tester. Check that both plugs fire more than a half inch. Single carb or dual carb?

    Just purchase 650 ts faceplate for your 650sx start stop switch. Way easier then messing with all the wiring, just remove two screws and youre done.
