Looks like the foot rocket has a smaller foam area, and there almost wasn’t enough room on the transom. The tube inside isn’t quite on the bottom of the ski... but I think it will drain most water.

A second benefit to the tight pole is when you take your hood off you just push your pole up and it stays there.
