Over on GH forum, they have a list of yamaha ski jet manuals online that you can access whch have all model wiring diagrams. The 760 has some differentcolors and some the same.

Therein lies the confusion. The box has a differnt color code for the wires or something. If you don't have a red/white and a brown/white as they should be. And whoever is correct about the greens. I was trying to go from memory which is faltering some in my old age.

I think you are looking at this wrong. There are 2 leads from the e-box that have connections to the stator wiring. There should be two greens from stator lighting coil. The red/white is from the pulser coil. The brown/white is from the charging coil. There should be corrisponding color...
