I would guess your prop came loose when the motor stuck, sounds crazy right, if they guy had the RPM's up when it hydrolocked, when the driveline came to a complete stop, the prop "Snapped" causing it to come loose.......... I have seen a few props come loose from stuff like this........

i agree. ive seen it too.

grif, are you SURE its stripped??? in the vid you posted, i saw the prop going up and down on the driveshaft as if it was climbing and 'unclimbing' the threads of the shaft. it wouldnt spin that easy if it were stripped.

ill bet your pump and impeller are okay.

Ohhh no, you had to bring this thread back up...

i still have not go this thing running good. maby i ran 1/2 tank through my setup.. damn me for picking a school so far away from home..


just need time to tune the carbs, and run to the airport..
