I have a R&D girdled head I need the o-ring to go between the head and the head shell (top plate, water o-ring). I sent a pm to jetmaniac, he's not sure if it's thin like a Ada or thicker like a pro-tec. I don't know either since this is the only billet head I have ever used, if anyone knows...

Manifold is already on the engine I port matched manifold to cylinder, put helicoils in to use the 10mm bolts. I installed the supertrapp today, I'm going to give it a try if I don't like it I'm going to get a h2o designs waterbox.

Anyone on here ever used a supertrapp on a 760? I'm building a Backie Chan with a freestyle ported 760, it will be behind a Coffman sizzler pipe. I have a almost like new supertrapp and access to plenty of disk and open or closed end plates. I have used a supertrapp plenty of times on 440/550...

I have searched my problem. Most people say the problem is with the stator. I have tried two different stators and two different cdis, the spark remains thin and weak (yellow/blue). All the parts I have tried are used. I have also tried a different coil, I cut back the plug leads and tried NGK...

I purchased a R&D head with flat top domes for what at the time seemed like a deal. I didn't know at the time that the flat top pistons that I bought ( another "deal") had a 4mm shorter compression height, now I'm trying to build a engine with what I have.

I have thought about that, not in the budget right now.

Hi guys, I have a set of 62t cylinders that I'm going to run flat-top pistons in. The pistons I'm using have a 4mm higher wrist pin height, lowering the top of the piston 4mm. I'm thinking I need to deck the bottom of the cylinders 4mm to get my port timing back to stock. I don't want to get...

43 here, started riding in about 1988. Started out on a 1978 440, modded everything, when I finally sold it the ski had a pjs reed motor in it. I quit riding for about 13 years(really got into wakeboarding). Now I have another pjs motored 440 and a backie chan ordered.

I'm trying to build a budget engine with 62t cylinders and cases. I recently purchased a used r&d girdled head that has chambers for flat top pistons, I need to know the best place to buy 84mm flat top pistons. I'm new to yamaha engines so any help will be appreciated.
