how do you measure carburetors, on the top or bottom holes, i probely sound dumb but hey, i gotta ask. i have a 94 sport cruiser 650sc and it has a 38mm carb. does that mean it is the top or bottom hole diamter.

Iven trying to find someone whos has a 38mm keihin carb for my 94 sport cruiser jet ski. Ive tried craigslist, ebay but no luck. is there any one on this forum that rides in oahu that has or knows someone that has a 38mm keihin that will fit my 650SC, any help?

sounds like carb, if it just started and then died it could well as be the carb. since its been winterized it going to take a little love to get her running again. poor some fuel in the spark plug holes and re-connect everything, this will give you a better idea if its a spark or carb problem...

ok, i think im just going to change all gaskets, hook up the water hose and see if that works, do you know how many turns the two screws should be.

but what actually would cuase it to rev so high, it was sounding like it was reving as if I were holding the throttle all the way down. I do have a clear fuel filter and it seammed to be pumping to the filter fine. could the setting on the air mixture screw be all messed up? and does it matter...
