Special fx the reason for the kawi tank it just fits better. For this build i used a superjet b pipe. Tom the pump and motor are aligned and shimmed. Started it up yesterday and it sounds really snappy. hope it rides like it sounds. Hope the weather is good this weekend so i could tune it...
here is the second 144 pump conversion for a fx1 build that i am about to complete. The first one has been great and been working with out any problems.
Nozzle is from a kawasaki 750 ss. and the bolts were too long so i made some aluminum bushings to move them forward so i could use the thread on them.
Your right Zero 61x reduction nozzle and a 6r7 pump housing you know your parts. hopefully i will assemble the pump tomorrow and install it...

Here is my 144 pump conversion for my fx1. A lot of work machining it to fit but i got it done. still need to paint it.
I was running a coffman lighting pipe last summer and up grated to a b-pipe right before going to Daytona and was not impressed. The coffman had more bottom end hit. If any one is interested its for sale. The pipe is pictured in my avatar.
