It looks like there is still some sticking out. Just use vice grips and penetrating oil. If not, center punch it and then drill a small pilot hole in the broken bolt. I use left handed drill bits because sometimes you get lucky and the bit will pull it out. Drill the largest hole in the bolt you...
I went with rn bracket and pole but before that I saw a pic of one that used a big spring that came out of the bracket area and pushes on the out side of the pole. I think it's a spring from a '94-'95? Can anyone verify?
Group k has this to say:
The maximum diameter limit of the stock sleeve is 84.5mm. Given this, we opted to bore to 84.0mm to allow us room for later over-boring (84.25 & 84.50). While the base sleeve (that sticks out of the bottom of the cylinder casting) gets very thin, it is still stable...
Go to McMaster's web site and type o-ring in the search. When it asks for a "dash" number, give it 146 (i think that is the big one). Then choose the compound of the o-ring.
I'm going to order the hardest compound to try out. (Shore D:55) That part # is 9559K184. You may want to try a softer...
Is the bulkhead solid?
I was thinking it was just foam in the middle. After drilling a hole on each side, i could just shove the stainless tubing through the foam.
I was kind of wondering about the group k thing too?
I found another thread that said you can just use you stock bilge hole to route the cable. Seems that would be the easy way. Was planning on an electric bilge anyway. How would I seal around the cable?
If I do end up drilling a new one I...
So how did it work? I'm thinking of doing the samething.

I wouldn't mind putting another thru hull in but i can't find any help on how to do it or what I need.
How old is the cable? Is it stretched? Also could be that you are out of adjustment now that you've shortened the pole. The throttle wheel would probably take care of that. I have a sn that I put a rn pole on (shorter) and I have the same slop. I just made sure that wide open throttle at the...
Thank you. It was hard work. It's just a 650 but I bought a 701. I'm thinking of group k's "SXR Killer" 760 big bore kit, but I need to do a little more research.
I got that plate and grate (one unit) for cheep and it hooks up very nicely in the surf. I did relize after installing it that it...
I'm fairly new to this but I’m addicted! I just bought a 90 superjet and already have made several upgrades. I see a lot of people run “back flip” nozzles and would like to try it for myself. I just bought a “cats” from ebay and was wondering how to install this thing. The ski is old so I’m not...
