The dental floss kept breaking on me and I wasn't even pulling all that hard so I used 50lb braided fishing line I had laying around and it worked like a charm! Got both in within 5 minutes.

Thanks for the info I'll look into it after work. I hope it's something easy and simple. It does this even if the lanyard isn't pulled out, I can hit the stop switch to take a break and it will still have this issue. It's a stock cdi, and I rebuilt the carbs a couple years ago.

My ski starts up fine from the ramp and will run all day iffff I never shut it off. Runs like normal rips but as soon as I fall and the lanyard comes out or I rest to take a little breather it doesn't want to start back up. It will crank over just fine but won't fire up. If I wait 10-20...

Rebuilding a carb for a friend, very last thing I do is pull out the high speed needle to put a new o-ring on and I could tell right away it was bent bad! As I backed it out it wobbled all over the place. What would cause this and would a new needle fix the problem or is it damaged internally too?

Yeah it idles fine runs fine in or out of water but dies when put under load

It is dying when tilted in the water at idle but will run out of the water tilted just fine. Soon as tray is pushed down under water it starts to sputter right away and dies when load is put on motor.
