picked up my 08 yesterday, heres some new things I noticed

Old style intake fits, old sn plates fit (had to drill out center holes) ride plate sticks out the back , looks like shiz

nozzle is angled up, with no adjustment on the trim type nozzle

intake area is different and has stainless impeller

oh yeah, well I got a blue one too!!! Congrats on the new ski! what are your plans for it?

narrower in rear and deaper strakes, wider in front like tubbies, inside under bond line is wider and will allow more room for b pipe, also hull seems no thicker and ribs are gone

Thanks! I was planning to get use to it and put in some foot holds, a hood kit and this down the road, just depends on how it handles and if its any good for free ride/freestyle

So the bottom is considerably different

strakes are much deeper, the nonadjustable trim puzzles me, but it's all there to convert with a c.a.t.s

This just looks bad, what was Yamaha thinking? A cut down stocker would fit nicer and help to keep the nose up

for trim, only thing I can think of, if your in a big carving turn the nozzle being up a little might help you bite in a turn nice !

No its a jet dynamics short plate, but the stock plate sticks out just like that

Is this hull overall shorter then the past years?

I think the the driveline/pump is set back two inches. The hull - I believe - is the same length.
