I'll have a new one to test by this Friday in both surf and flat water. I race and freestlye, so I'll give it a good workout too.

Motor placement is the same; longer and larger diameter driveshaft with pump moved back. The widened hull cannot match the aftermarket tubbies because of smc production. (negative draft). Sure would have been nice to see a frp bottom instead of the smc.

At least the B-pipe won't rub the sides of the hull after reinforcing.

I was just looking under my sxr and the strake depth and placement look very close, also width of the hulls look close, light weight of a superjet and possible handling like a sxr, interesting!

the way the tubbies are shaped continues on in the engine compartment aswell heaps more room a b pipe shouldnt rub on the hull at all now! and where the bondline line is they are nearly flat, yamaha also used the same bulkhead which made a bigger gap in the bottom deck where the bulkhead meets, all they done is squezzed a bit more plexus in there!!
