If I knew how to do vid.. It would be Up.. My buddies Friend was supposed to copy so we could send out.

Long story short, I am going to get the tape today. and go to place and get it burnt to dvd.

If they will compress it enough, I will try and load on my computers...

Both my laptop and desktop are OLD... and barely run !

Please be patient, who cares about a vid that makes me look better than I am... hehehehe giggle. :nana:

The "Caker" was kind enough to take a long drive down to the land of the FX Mafia to let us check out his new toy. First off.....Props to Pete for doing that!!! That takes true enthusiasm for the sport.

Next, I've seen alot of custom hulls and I have to say the Matrix design and quality are absolutely second to none. Everything from the greatest details of shaping and styling to the smallest details of battery mounts/engine mounts.....this thing is the shiznit!

Also, Props to Alex for the laying down some kick-ass paint.....the ski looks absolutely KILLER!! (especially with Pete launching 20' backflips on it!!)....pics don't do it justice.

The handling is very foreign to me, but then again I'm used to riding an FX-1 (a 2x4 with a motor). I'm not used to the stability and accuracy of the Matrix. That said, I'm sure I could get used to it in little time. Coming from a Superjet I'm sure this boat will feel immediately comfortable and give the rider a ton of confidence.

Props to Bobby/Trinity for an wicked quality standard and mad Props to Pete for letting our whole crew take his new toy for a romp.....it has to be hard to hand her over to someone else and say "go thrash it!!"

Thanks again Caker!!!!!!

^^^^^Cool!

Pete, how are you liking it with more time on it now? Still everything you wished for?

Thank you JD ! It was Great to hear some other opinions...

Cracka, I love it. Its so light and wide, making a setup wake was a challenge for me, but its a challenge for me on any ski. LOL

as for the surf.. big surf and small surf its awesome.. Joe B came over to me and said pete your surf riding looks so much more at ease now. I was stoked on that.

the Mafia had some insite and said pete you should try and trim that nozzle up a little its all the way down. I did not even notice. they said if it handles that good with the nose down some, wait till you trim that up a little. So I did and will try it this week some time.

I tried to upload the video like 5 times. I cant do it. I paid to get it copied from tape to dvd and still cant load it.

I am overnighting to Bobby. Sorry bobby I tried, maybe you can get it to work.. It plays, I just cant load it to edit it.

I will get some more footage this holiday weekend. I am close to buying another helmet cam.

Thanks and look for this boat build and my write up in PWI ! :veryhappy:

Thanks Mafia for your opinion. :arms:

:deadhorse:

anyone that posted above want to pay over nights all over and edit for free.

I have 2 people here that would do it, but I would of waited a month.

for the 10th time and Im so frustrated its not funny.

I erased all my good porn and old vids and pics to try and load this thing up.

the movie thing I have will not upload and I am sick of asking for help.
I paid to get it copied and now its off to bobby.
He has someone that will do it.

Thanks for the feed back, did anyone else get a chance to ride the ski?

No Square..No Round..FX-1
Pete,Thanks again for the opportunity to ride your new boat! JD pretty much covered all the major props in the earlier post. Same here.(Quality,Finish,Paint,Power...ect). Yep...It's an AWESOME creation that was cool to see created from the ground up...then for icing on the cake, I got a chance to ride it! Us FX guys aren't used to the extra-wide, comfy, stable footprint and handling aspects of this ski. Pete seemed to be right at home on the Matrix and was tearing up the small choppy surf that was available last Saturday. Unfortunately, I had to work in the morning, and missed the earlier frontside wave session with the crew. When I arrived on the beach, Carl (WaveHog)was taking Pete's ski for a little carve session in front of the trucks. I managed to get a 1.4 minute clip of that...This cell phone quality vid will have to do until the other HD video appears.? (sorry for the crappy quality/no editing).
Pete's motor ran real well, SUPER crispy response with strong bottom punch. That's QUIET!!

Pete,Good Luck with it...She's a beauty!! :woot:
