12 vein pumps

I am considering getting a mag pump for my set up. My question is, would I see a big difference in pop? Or should I save the $400 (buying 12 vein stator only) and wait until I get a bigger motor? Currently I am running a 61x, single carb with ada head, 144 pump with solas concord 13/17 impeller. I will be using it on a gen 2 glass bob with trim. Wanting to try to backflip off of a boat wake.

idk what the big boys will recommend but before a stator id be picking up a 10-16 or 9-15 impeller.....

A solas mag with a skat c75 12/17 5mm cutback and an 85-86 mm exit nozzle will make a huge difference for you

I own both. Definite power difference in the 61x vs 61x/62t, More potential. Mag definitely helps, but from what i have experienced they are much more beneficial on higher HP engines.

Do you already had MSD enhancer, pipe, reeds?

I do have a b pipe. No msd and stock reeds. wanted to change them out just haven't yet and not sure what to get.

I'd try a repitch on your impeller before spending a bunch of $$ on a new pump

I just bought a new hd drive shaft from JM. If I switch impellers I'll probably go with a hooker. Thanks though.

I just figured before I installed the pump and motor etc if i would see a difference go ahead and get the 12 vein but sounds like msd, reeds and a jump start on a different motor set up would be more beneficial

Id much rather have a solas over an enhancer and reeds

Pro Series. After talking to the tech at Boyesen, they said it would be best for bottom end. You can see my full setup in the blaster thread in my sig.

Get yourself a wetjet intake if your gonna stay with a single carb set-up

Keep in mind your Solas Concord is not a big hub impellor. If you decide to go to the Mag pump you will have to buy a new impellor as well to work with it.

Loved the way my solas pump ran, better hookup, better power
hated the way it ate bearings and locked up, trashed my midshaft
so I went back to stock
