Freestyle -13 SN 850, first backflip attempts

th this is my mate marc his setup is a cut up RN 200mm of the back straight cut and nose rocker with a ported 760 bpipe waterbox and stock pump with a prop with trim....its do able but you need technique trim and more technique

that thing sounded like a beast and your buddy must be like a fly taped to the bars. good job!

Exactly man, I was super impressed you built your own -13 hull period and your 17! know why its impressive, because im literally in the same boat, im 17 and going into senior year, and all I dream of is flippinfg and not spending 13 grand or being a builders son and have unlimited resources to play with, to do it. but all hes trying to do is have fun and attempt a trick and guess what, eventually hel probably get close and if he doesn't then hel moveon but why is trying at anything positive bad??. and how can you just shoot down dreams of trying, yes be realistic, but saying the only way to flip is to put down a wad of cash that could buy a nice truck isnt realistic at our age. the proof of a stock 760 is shown to you and you still doubt it......its right there!!! and not to get on anybodys bad side especially buzzards, but all hes doing is having fun and attempting so why are you shooting down attempts??....... is it hurting you guys and your $10,000 setups? because ive seen stock squares backflip vs so I know he can do that then try rollers then his own and maybe tahts where it ends, but guarantee hel have fun and learn in the process thatl help when he does buy his am setup. so right on man! id definitely like to talk over your build, any build thread somewhere??

You will NOT get a flat spin 180 to flip with your setup. Your pump is not setup right for that trick. Notice everyone in all those vids it hitting either a setup wake or boat wake. You might have a chance with either a setup or boat wake...maybe. The easy part is getting upside down, I can do that on a 300. It's the second half of the rotation that people don't understand is hard.

Good luck

I just pulled my stock pump 771 surf layup chan around on a setup wake yesterday plate to plate, don't let anyone tell u it is impossible. Try a setup wake and go from there I have no experience on spin to flips so can't help you. 17 years old and doing fab work like that is awesome, practice practice practice is all it takes then u will know the limitations of ur boat and most of all your skills.

the thing is, this is a sport. depending on how serious one takes it, anything is really possible. By claiming he can flip that does not mean he can do a double... I just think its funny now everyone needs a built 850 to go flip. when money replaces practice and technique, i laugh. the sport is going to flips and spins. 30 ft in the air with 1200s. not all of us have that money...my opinion, but if you cant flip an am hull with a motor, don't :):):):) on everyone elses dreams brotha. we all ride, some harder then others, some with more money then others, but at the end of the day, to a specific degree, anything is possible. Look at fmx...now v 10 years ago. Tell me no, and Il do it that much better. You claim to not agree and be real about this, but man everyone has diff riding style and abilities. Just because you may not be able to do something, or myself, does not mean that next guy cant.. anyways...flips are over rated! lets see some no handed rolls >:) or some huge flat water invert stabs, thats the fun technical, add the flare type of stuff where each rider can show case their style. Anyways, happy 4th to all, enjoy the wknd be safe, get some bad ass riding in!!

Peace! Remember we all ride and are family at the end of the day!!!

i have done more for this sport than you can comprehend or ever realize. i have been selling needed parts worldwide since 2004 and started buying up stand up jetskis long before the second wave of the jetski craze ever came to be. nobody wanted these things! i have supplied every corner of the globe with rare, desireable and valuable parts , to guys that were stoked to get them and screwed without them. lucky me had no idea what the future of the sport was turning into, but i knew i was a jetski enthusiast and student of the game. i'm a business man that has made my business in the jetski world and have dedicated the last 9 years to this and its been well worth it. 90% of you guys on here are not on the same level as i am/was, and never will be. you guys are weekend warriors that like riding jetskis and think they're fun. this is and has been for many years a job that i absolutly love and i hope everybody is/becomes as lucky as i am and does something that they really love doing. its not even like a job.and all the haters can :):):):) off and be miserable :)= The Snake / jetskibuzzard

Don't talk ur business "up". I'm sure u have done alot for the sport and have devoted your life to this sport but you don't exactly have a perfect customer satisfaction past. Why not cheer the kid on, give him more of a reason to ride everyday instead of trying to explain what you "meant"

i didnt do it for the sport and i never said i did. my intention then and always will be survival. customers are not always satisfied when buying used parts. sometimes their expectations are too high or i think something is "nice" and the buyer doesnt. opinions very! you try and compare your chan flip with this square flip, thats a total joke. i'm not sugar coating anything. the kid has balls to try, i'll give him that, but his equipment is lacking. i know all about that and i got no fear ball too.

Bump! How is coming with the tricks? Have you added trim and had any more luck getting around? Pulling off some big b-rolls or anything else?

got trim hooked up and made a few more attempts but didnt spend to much time with it, the 850 blew up the last few weeks of the season so i finished out the season with my 760 and managed to almost complete a few rolls with that, got a mag pump to put in it and taking the 850 up to a 900 and giving it a set of custom built 44s instead of the modded 38s, ill get to work on those soon but hopefully this season ill have the rolls down and get some flips going!
