1500 made , how many left... ?

I have 2 now I just picked one up from Norwalk CT in absolute mint condition. It has B pipe, 20/25 slim line impeller, Group K sleeper work, factory tool set It has been stored away in a basement for the last 7 years and the guy ( really nice to talk to as well ) who owned it took really good care of it. Flew to NY then rented a mini van loaded it up a drove back.

I gues one good and bad thing was after riding my new FX1 it confirmed my old one is water logged. New one does not porpoise anything like my old one and it just feels so mulch lighter. Time to defoam the tray :-( .

If the FX1 is a Unicorn I have his horn off the top of his head ( maybe ) the stock impeller LOL

I know this stuff is not worth anything in the jet ski world but being involved with older Porsche car restoration I know the value in original OME parts and manuals and tools. IMO this kind of stuff does tell the a lot about the previous owner. If they take good care of these items they are sure to take really good care of the item it belongs too.

Take that stock impeller and throw it off a bridge If every impeller was to disappear off earth except for one brand new stock fx1 impeller I would take that impeller melt it down into a widdling knife and carve an impeller from wood

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pick that up for? Just wondering what a mint fx1 goes for these days.

Let's see.... There is 1 really nice ski in FL 2 hrs from me on Craigslist for $4,500 and it's still there. Now figure I flew to NY and rented a van and drove back. I am an adventurous person but I hate wasting money.
