1500 made , how many left... ?

I managed to scoop this one up a month back. All stock minus an intake grate. Very low hours and motor has perfect compression.

Picked up another one. This one has been around and in need of a rebuild.

Started by taking all the stickers off

Cool looking ski...why would you remove the stickers?? Or were there non stock decals you removed? Hoping you didn't remove the oem decals...

Oh not the OEM graphics. Those are why I bought it..lol
It had a bunch of homemade stickers and old school stickers that made it look junky.

Ok..good. I've actually seen people buy older skis that had nice oem graphics, and remove them. To me they toss out a good $500 in value..or more. I was very excited to buy my current fx1 with all original decals.

I would love to try a fixed steer FX..bet that is a unique ride.

Resurected my FX from the dead these past few weeks, waiting for my new hull to be built so i tossed this together with some parts laying around the garage. This thing has some sentimental value to say the least. When i was probably 13 or so this was a buddy's ski and i took it for a ride, hood fell off and i swam the ski 300 yards or so back to shore underwater in the winter. Later that summer i was cruising around on an x2 and saw the hood at the bottom of our lake, dove down grabbed it and somehow loaded the hood onto my x2 and got it back to shore. 3 years ago i bought it from the owner because he could never get it to run right again and i've just been letting it sit on the side of the house because of a lack of motivation. Now something like 8 years later this whole "quarantine" thing hit and i currently don't have a ski so i did a quick motor and ebox swap with some backup stuff, thew in some footholds and now i have a sweet lake ripper for the early season.

Hey 550 kid , I love your jalopy..
Haha thank you! Just took her out for the first ride in years yesterday. To say the least i've been a little spoiled riding superjets and am hulls the past 5 years.. this little hull with this much top end and such a small pump is going to take some getting used to...
