Custom/Hybrid 155 pump?

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352170347.852520.jpg I used a skat reduction nozzle. During the fitting of my blowsion jd pump shoe I used the oem reduction nozzle from the jet pump. Part number 63M0 with W1 marking. I have a gp1100 nozzle part number 65U marking LS 1 both appear to be the same length and have the same mating surface to mounting hole measurement. I will pop the ride plate to see if I can read the wear ring and stator section.

So you are running the JD155 pump shoe??? Are you using some kind of rubber seal on it to or does it fit snug into the pump shoe like these big pumps do on factory couch style shoes?

i am using a modified 144 jd pump shoe and make it a true 155 diameter. not sure how the "155" pump shoe would not bottleneck the pump inlet seeing as i had to grind alot of fiberglass away to get it all opened up to 155mm.

I have been running my 155 pump in my 900 for a minute now it's extremely hard to get dialed in but once you do :brap:
Gotta give it up to Thrust and Billibo455

I too am waiting to put a 155 in my blaster. I have the whole pump and trim assembly out of a raider. I am still trying to find info on how the shoes mate to the pump, and whether to use the wide front bearing in the 155 pump, or the narrow bearing that would come in a 144mm pump.

Use the rear bearing out of the 144 and front bearing out of the 155 to make the shaft work in a 155 pump

I used a wb2 pump seal but it is not big enough to install like on the 144 pump so I cut if and stretched it around the wear ring lip. I was left with a 1" gap at the bottom that I silicone a piece of another pump seal in.

That is strange. The WB2 pump seal is designed to fit a 155mm wear ring exactly like an SJ/B1 pump seal fits a 144mm wear ring. Something fishy?

I am thinking he may have gotten a Blaster 1 pump seal for a 144, which would be about 1" too small in diameter

Well I ordered one from Yamaha and it was from a wb2. It was bigger than my 144 but not big enough to go around the lip of the wear ring. This may be because of the hull mount that usually bolts to the wear ring. Let me go pull my ride plate off and see if I can get some part numbers. I don't think I was sent the wrong pump seal and I ordered the wb2 because I " heard" it would fit.
