1994 Kawi 750 Re-jetting Help

Just bought my first ski with little knowledge. I was told it has a lot of aftermarket parts with a lot of potential, but isn't running quite right. The compression is pretty high around 180, but other than that all I have is a list of what aftermarket parts I think the ski has and some pics. I was just told the carbs need to be jetted properly. Can I get some professional help?

1994 Kawasaki 750 with aluminum hand pole, racing handle bars, factory pipe, heads, intake, prop, ride plate, and foot holds. Again both cylinders checked out to have approximately 180 compression and the ski starts up and runs, but just doesn't seem like it's getting fuel right or something. The guy was mixing 91 and 110 I believe, I'll have to check on that later. And can anyone tell me what kind of reeds these are?20150601_175654.jpg 20150601_175856.jpg 20150601_175654.jpg 20150601_175856.jpg 20150601_192242.jpg 20150601_191957.jpg 20150601_191949.jpg 20150601_191941.jpg 20150601_184003.jpg 20150601_183958.jpg 20150601_175913.jpg 20150601_175856.jpg 20150601_175654.jpg 20150601_175654.jpg 20150601_175856.jpg 20150601_175913.jpg 20150601_183958.jpg 20150601_184003.jpg 20150601_191941.jpg 20150601_191949.jpg 20150601_191957.jpg 20150601_192242.jpg Thanks again for any help.

Those are the stock 38mm keihen carbs. I dont know much about them as i have only tuned mikuni sbn carbs.

You should consider doing some research on those carbsand doing a little work on them. Theski may be jetted correctly but the carbs could be a little tired. What im abput to say is certain for mikuni carbs and is probably close for keihens...
I would take the carbs apart and clean them well. Use a popoff gauge and test the fuel pumps and the seats for leaks. Replace any carb parts that are worn put. Also put new spark plugs in if you have not.

Its a good starting point. Leaking seaks or fuel pumps are common and a ski will never run right like that.

Thanks Vumad, I'll start from there and let you know how it turns out.

If they are the 2 jet keihins start with 75 lows and 125 Highs. If they are 3 jet keihins I had best luck pulling the 45's and replacing with 40. Pop-off should be whatever the PIPE requires 18-22 if I remember correctly. If you start it and let idle then Squeeze the throttle to WFO (in one fast pull) what happens? A dip in power, then serge to WFO? Or does it just DIE?

Do you guys see the hose clamps holding that bolt in the one fuel line in my last picture. If you look close in other pics you can see that's how the set up was before I pulled the carbs off. Is that maybe the result of both carbs not getting the right amount of fuel or something?

I do not think that will effect anything, fuel line routing looks correct. looks like it was a 3 carb set and they cut the last one off. Open them up see what jets are in it.

So you should make sure its running on both cylinders. pull the plugs make sure they look the same. Post a pic, they may tell us whats next.

the windings go bad on the coil. And judging by the Blue stuff used to seal the ebox it may be your issue.
How long has the Fuel been in it?

Yes I got it started, my buddy had to hold the crankcase drain all the way open while we turned it over. It finally started so I don't know if it was flooded that bad? Let it run for about a minute then tried again an hour later. Had to do the same thing.
