Glad to have finally rode with Brappadoodle! He came up to our pond yesterday to ride with Hornedogg and myself.Great day on the water too.And Brappy got his ski close to being dialed in! l know how frustrating it is to get a ski after a complete rebuild where you want it.Pain in the ass, frankly.
But your ski runs great and you did an awesome job on the build man! First SN l have rode in a long time and it had power. You will have to come back and ride again.

Can you tell we like Toyota trucks

Yesterday was a lot of firsts for me,

First time I have ever driven 30ft under a lake to launch my ski
First time I've ever seen a Wet-Bike
First time riding with @Sanoman after hanging out and working on skis for an entire year! also first time riding with @hornedogg79 for that matter
First time I've ever ridden an aftermarket ski, Like riding a shopping cart backwards down a hill... with power.
First time I've ever seen anyone do a backflip, damn that's crazy in person!
First time I almost took a man out, trying to stay on my ski haha
Also could have been my first time riding a 550 and FX1, but I decided I had enough excitement for that day.
Of course the first time really riding my "New" Superjet and boy did I miss it.

You did not ride an FX1. What you rode was the Rickter Killer.

What a fun day. Great to meet you Seth. You did an amazing job on your ski and your tow rig might be the coolest to ever show up here.

Hmmm...
I thought maybe you were mulling over trying something else after your Rickter Edge, and I have been waiting to see your next move.
I am also waiting to see if CodyAdams209 posts up what his next ski was/is after his Rickter Edge.

Somehow, from your past posts, about owlpoope I doubt it will be an FX-1 in any configuration!

If you/he wouldn't mind, what is Jon's username so I can see what he did to modify his FX-1.

[BTW, based on suggestions here I bought Chief Architect Premiere X12. And I have been sitting on my butt for the last five days straight trying to design our house while learning the program. The program is outstanding! Me, not so much...

I will post up my thoughts on it in that thread eventually.]

@hornedogg79 Thanks buddy, when I can get back to thinking about skis instead of locking the entire ceiling framing to the bottom of the 11 1/4" x 1/2" floor joists and figuring out how to produce and save material schedules and send them to layout, I will post up a thread and ask for your input on moding the FX-1.

Not decided yet what I am gonna do. If it's a different ski it will be a SJ. Just not sure if it will be pre 08 or 08-20 model.

Thank you Buddy! Especially relevant to this thread.

BTW @brraaapperdoodle this is a GREAT restoration thread. It should likely be a sticky the way you have documented it with photos.
I am afraid to open up either our '94 SN SJ or '95 FX-1 to check for water in the tray, but eventually when I do, I will be revisiting this thread.
Thanks Buddy!

Thanks! I will post some good pictures of the final finishes soon. Funny how I have so much time right now, but no time at all! I learned so much from this build and would do a few things differently if I did it again but I am VERY happy with the outcome. I am keeping my eyes out for a 440 , 550 or another SN because I would like to have a ski for my lady or friends to ride. Let me know if anyone sees anything, Im not afraid to build it or buy a running ski!
