Use the pennzoil synthetic blend premium plus oil(twc3 rating) or even yamalube. When its twc3 rated, the companies paid tons of money to get the oil tested(something that amsoil refuses to do since they are a bunch of cheap a$$es).

Oil is oil imo, and if your unsure, run a bit extra. The main thing is to make sure you run the correct oil for the selected application. You wouldn't run a twc3 oil in a powervalved or sea doo ski with gas valves since they require a low ash oil(api-tc rating) for performance purposes.

Klotz Benol is great oil, but since it is a degummed castor it is really designed for high RPM high compression engines that demand the best film strength for these apps. IMO it is a waste of money to run this in freestyle engine or rec riding. It smells great and is a great oil but personally I run the Pennzoil 100% synthetic marine oil, it runs clean and is biodegradable. Klotz makes a synthetic that would probably be better choice for most. I think it is called Techniplate, good oil and not as expensive as the Benol.

Thanks for the input guys
Putting on b-pipe,adagirdled head 35cc domes and wanted to run a good oil.
I read,i think in one of sluts threads that yamaboob oil can leave a nazty black gummy residue in the pipe and was wondering what would be best to run
The premix ratio i'll be using after it's back together 40:1 on 92 octane.
Wamilton suggested either the Klotz oil or Yamalube "R"

i used to use the klotz r-50, but started getting the yamalube refills really cheap (free) so started using that instaed. the yama cetainly smokes alot more but i've noticed during teardown or any internal work the more seems well lubricated with the yamalube

i run klotz benol, great oil, little pricey, but id rather pay 50 bucks extra a year, than deal wih the hassle of a possible rebuild, like the saying sas, you get what you pay for

I thought Amsoil has the TC rating? Which seems to be a higher rating than the tcw3 rating.

I meant to say certified and not rated. Being rated and certified for an application are two different things. Certified means it was actually tested for the application, rated is a claim!!!!!!!

Api-tc oils burn at a much higher temp than twc3 oils do, hence why I previously stated any ski with gas and powervalves need it for extra protection/performance.

Pennzoil syn blend, yamalube, and west marine twc3 oil are great picks. Even some ppl like the tech 2000 from wally world!!!

since i stopped useing the wally world tech 2000 i havent had to rebuild my motor in 3 years before was barely getting a year but oil is oil go figure

I ran klotz in my high perf go-kart when I used to race, however, this was an engine that was rebuilt every third race. I wouldnt waste the money on a ski engine. If its a stocker, Ill put in Pennzoil semi-synth, I like the blue color.

Man, your diction is worse than Momars! Ever heard of a period? And as for the Tech oil causing a rebuild, I highly doubt that was the sole cause. I ran it for 7 years in a stroker and to my knowledge, it is still going. If you do a little research, you would find it is made by Quaker State. I think QS knows a thing or two about oil. I invited Amsoil to jump in the debate on the "other" forum and they never stepped in. Go figure.

They won't step in because they have no data outside their lab to back up their 2 stroke oils. If you ever visit bobistheoilguy.com, youll see why most ppl are not real keen on running amsoil 2 stroke oil due to no certified testing!!!!
