2007 Daytona Beach Moto/Surf Freeride

Hmmmm...I just called and tried to have my reservation added to (arriving Thursday - the girls show up Friday) and they couldn't accomodate. I seriously didn't think it would be any big deal.....

I have the OC Crew flying in with me, and I know they haven't made ANY arrangements for the entire trip (I'm pretty sure they'll be begging for floor space in our room...LOL!)

So.........I'll be looking for a couch, hammock, or spot on the floor Thursday evening in case someone is feeling generous....could land you a nice place to stay in Pismo Beach & a Limited SX-R any time you want to visit - FOR FREE.

I just canceled a room at the driftwood on wend thur fri sat night its a 1 double bed with parklot view.... call and snatch it up....

There is another place nearby i got into to take 4 of us, cant remember the name....

I have burning moey like crazy getting ready for this event but does anybody (nick) know if I should bring some cash for sxr auction stuff or is it all superjet stuff. Ahh well maby I should just buy one of those.

There were a couple guys with wetsuits on before you got there. (Bill and Scott) Definately no wetsuits needed. I am from Miami, me and cold water don't mix. It will be great all the way through the freeride.

sounds like ollie and I got jobbed on our rooms (2 rooms). we got on the list with ocean front first floor. now we're on the 4th floor.

WaveHog, JoeB, And myself arrived Sun AM. The surf was small, but Glassy. By the time we finished up with the registration, the tide had dropped and it got choppier. 65 degrees is the temp posted at the lifegard station. It's nice! At high tide there isn't much beach for truck parking. :frown: The beach patrol closed the access entrance and a short section by the lifegard tower where lot's of guys got stuck last year. (basically not much parking behind the Maki). You have to use the entrance south of that one, the sand is harder there. 2wd w/trailer guys..good luck.

Off-beach trailer parking is a pain in the butt! :banghead: The Maki lot across the street is supposed to open up thurs.

i will freak the fauk out if they do that to me.....i made like the second reservation. reminds me of the seinfeld rental car episode

Dammit---I'm going to have to call and check on my projected room. I reserved in October, I think. I hope I can find my confirmation number.

I was wondering who was here already.... I'll shoot by there tomorrow and see you ********ers... I didn't ride sunday, cause the surf was ehhh not too good and had some stuff to do...

btw - the tide will be fine for the weekend... we will have plenty of room to drive on the beach. We will have acess to the cardinal beach approach too... .....and we will have ramps going from the makai wall down to the sand.... don't sweat the minor ********, I got all this stuff worked out... You guys are just a little early.
