I had to miss it in '07 at the last minute. I'm doing everything I can to make it this time.

You have to make it. Last year was my first time and it was overwhelming how many standups and B1's there were. I had a bad rinning ski and still had fun. She runs like a scalded dog now, let's see if i can get it all the way around this time. Plate to plate not plate to side like i always do.

If all goes to plan i will be bringing my 750 sx... its not an sj but its all i have and im not very good.... i just want to have some fun and hangout with a crowd of people that are into stand ups.

ive got over 2 months till we go and im already pumped..... any tips or ideas for a new kid on the block?

- do not follow anyone over a wave or jump a wave right after a person jumps. you don't know what they are going to do so always assume they are turning back at you and going to ride the wave.
- never sit or ride perpendicular to a wave on the backside of it. You will geet landed on and die.
- if someone is surfing a wave and you are down the line, get out of the way soo they can continue surfing it. Don't jump the wave right in front of them and trash it.
- Do not cross over in front of a rider and cut a person off from setting up. Smetimes guys will follow the wave or wait for it, just have common courtesy
- Do not travel at high rates of speed in the zone... this is a freestyle area, not a race track
- put tow loops on your ski
- pay attention..
Possibly bringing a pop-up, or a fun mover. Is there an area for these? Or do we just need to get a room?

you can camp and so on , but you will have to find a campground near there... Just do a search in Daytona for campgrounds and do it up. I think there's a spot w/i 10 miles of the location

ok cool thanks man, me and kawa750rider and 2 more freinds are the ones that are coming down so were trying to figure out as much as we can now.... dont want to get down there and have no place to park the camper
well if we dont bring any then im sure we will find some.....
